Interviewing Skills:
This section was designed to help you evaluate the effectiveness of two aspects of your managers' and recruiters' job interviewing skills; 1) their understanding and application of the legal issues involved in hiring, and 2) their effectiveness in using cutting-edge interviewing techniques to maximize their candidate selection. The first skill looks at how much your hiring practices protect your downside (avoid lawsuits) while the latter skill provides information about how much you're maximizing your upside (hiring the best candidates). Ideally, you're doing both. To see how your company is doing on each of these, compare the answers to questions 11, 53, 55, 57, 71, 73, 74, 115 and 128 (which address the legal issues) to questions 23, 64, 68, 89, 86, and 113 (effective job interview skills).

The following table shows recommendations sorted by those that require the shortest time to implement.
